characters
At the beginning of the game, you have the chance to meet the four main characters separately, playing a little sub-chapter with every one of them (so you can practice a little fighting before beginning the game itself :)) These are our four heroes:
Virginia Maxwell
Age: 18
Virginia is an 18 year old girl new to the drifters' world. Her father taught her how to use ARMs when she was a child, but he left many years ago. Later his mum died, and now she lives with his aunt and uncle in a farm in Boot Hill. However, Virginia doesn't want to be an average farm girl and thinks that her destiny is to become a drifter like her father once was, so he decides to leave her town and begin travelling trough the wasteland, hoping to find him some day, somewhere...
Clive Winslet
Age: 30
Clive Winslet is a 30 year old man who has been a drifter since 17. He does very good with his ARMs - actually, Jet and him are the two most powerful characters when shooting, I swear ;) Clive is a wandering mercenary and has a family back in Humphreys Peak, his town, to worry about: he's married to a very nice and beautiful woman, Catherine, and they have a cute little 4 year old daughter named Kaitlynn. He's a really nice man, intelligent and highly educated; and as I've said before, also really strong and powerful in battle. Being the oldest of the group he has enough knowledge and experience to handle most of situations. He's the one who suggests Virginia to be the leader - and also the first who pledge his loyalty to her and to the group: so we could say that without him the party would not have even been formed. Clive runs into Virginia, Gallows, and Jet while protecting the Ark Scepter aboard the train.
Jet Enduro
Age: unknown
Jet Enduro is maybe the most dark, mysterious character between our heroes, and he's also a drifter. Actually, he's been a drifter as long as he can remember - and that's not a lot of time: he says he has no memories of his youth at all... he only knows that he's always been alone, and he doesn't seem used to trust other people. He's kind of a thief because he searches in abandoned temples or ruins, expecting to find money or anything worth stealing and selling. When Jet meets Virginia, Clive, and Gallows while trying to steal the Ark Scepter aboard the train, his life changes - and for the better, because he stops being by his own and begins to have something closer to friends, though he's too proud to admit it ;) The group will encourage Jet to search himself for his lost memories, doing everything they can to help him with that.
Gallows Carradine
Age: 24
Gallows Carradine is a 24 year old man who's part of the Baskar tribe. He's breaking away from religion and tradition, and because of that he's always arguing wth his grandma, because she says he's immature and useless. And so, Gallows ends saying that he's gonna leave the Baskar Colony. Shane, Gallows' brother who has dream sight powers, says that if Gallows leaves something terrible will happen to him and begs him not to leave his home town; but Gallows refuses, and leaves anyway. He bumps into Virginia, Clive, and Jet on a train, while he was off to get the other Ark Scepter that was there (because he already had one, and wanted to check how could be that another one existed)
