{ Fanlisting? }

According to The Fanlistings Network, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting ^^ And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always great, isn't it?

{ About Sniper }

Warning: if you haven't played the game until finishing the part concerning Sniper, don't read the following. It could contain important spoilers . You've been warned!

Snoper Wolf was a Kurd who lived in Iraq. Near the end of the war between Iraq and Iran, Wolf's Kurdish village was gassed by Iraqi troops... so nearly all of her village, including her parents, died and Sniper was an orphan. She was then taken by the Iraqi government and was tortured and brainwashed to be a deadly sniper, trained by one of the world's best snipers, Gurkha from Nepal. She learned to grow her patience and can keep aiming her target for over a week without consuming food or water.

She escaped to a Kurd refugee camp after the end of the Gulf War and the U.S. Secretary of State and Big Boss were inspecting the camp. Big Boss recognized Wolf's great skill and took her in the U.S. Government, where she was rid of brainwashing. Nothing but her sniper skills were left and she thanked Big Boss, calling him Saladin, who was a Muslim fighter who freed his people from the Crusaders. Sniper Wolf then fought under Big Boss's command, until he died at Outer Heaven.

Liquid Snake took Wolf into special unit forces FOX-HOUND. She became addicted to Diazepam, an anti-anxiety drug that can remove stress and tension muscles, which a lot of snipers use,a dn began using the PSG-1 Sniper Rifle as her weapon of choice (always with her own trademark: uses bullets packed with mercury).

In 2005, she was involved in the Shadow Moses take over. She captured Hal Emmerich (a.k.a. Otacon), the head scientist and programmer for Metal Gear REX, and had him locked in his computer room. The soldiers there were going to kill the wolves around the base, but Sniper ordered them not to and let Hal feed them. Otacon, amazed by her love towards the wolves, fell in love with her.

Sniper managed to ambush Snake and shoot Meryl, who was with Snake, to get Snake to come out into the open. Snake ran out to look for a sniper rifle while Wolf had Meryl captured. Snake managed to get a PSG-1 and he had a battle with Sniper - however, he ended captured in the Communications Tower. Wolf left her "mark" on Snake, saying that she would not stop thinking about him until she killed him (... sweet ;)) Snake escaped, but when he was in a snowfield outside of the Communications Tower, Sniper attacked him again. Otacon wanted to stop this battle, but he wasn't able to. They battled and Snake managed to strike her bad in the lungs. Sniper, badly injured, told Snake her life story as a child, how she and her family were attacked only because they were Kurds and how she was born and grown up in a battlefield, joining Fox Hound so many years ago because she thought it was her chance to take her revenge on the world. Snake was about to end her suffering killing her quickly, but Otacon appeared and began to cry. Wolf asked for her gun to be placed next to her, because it was her only true friend, and Hal did as she asked. And then Snake shot her in the head.
