fanlisting;According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting. And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always a great thing :) If you're interested in knowing still more about the fanlistings, check any of both fanlisting networks for more information: The Fanlistings Network / The Anime Fanlistings Network why;20th Century Boys is currently being published in Japan: the last volume I've read is the 18th (well, there's still a 19th volume, but I still haven't got it) I've been reading it thanks to scanlations, and it has been recently licensed in my country (Spain); I'm getting the tankoubons of the Spanish edition as well though, because I really adore this series and I want to have the 'original' volumes, in paper I mean - not only the scanned ones. I'm enjoying 20thCB so much, the same way I enjoyed Monster the first time I read it... Urasawa-sensei is a genius, my favorite mangaka ever, and I admire his work so much. After watching the Yawara! anime and reading the Monster manga I was sure I would love this series, and I wasn't wrong :D So I've wanted to make this little site about this series because 20thCB is a great manga that everyone should know and read, and i've wanted to make my own little tribute to it. And if you were wondering about it, I've named the fanlisting A child's game because it's how everything begins... with an innocent, simple child's game. credits; The scripts this site uses are Enthusiast (by Angela) to manage the fanlisting and NL-PHPmail (by Sasha) for the contact form. The fonts I've used in the site are Georgia (for the titles), Verdana (for the menu), Geneva (for the text) and Twentieth Century Poster (for the site title). The layout pictures have been taken from the official 20th Century Boys site ^^ |
