fanlisting

According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting. And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always a great thing :)

why

Well, I've always loved the Final Fantasy series. I don't have a fav game there, but certainly I'm one of those people who love to death FFVII. And though Barret isn't my fav character in the game, I adore him anyway, I honestly think he's great and that's why I've decided to build the fanlisting for him <3. I also think he's an underappreciated character, mostly because most people tend to like male characters with better looks I guess (...) And it's a pity, because Barret is a really, *really* good character, and he should be noticed, appreciated and loved beyond his appearance. Not that I'm complaining about the way he looks, but I know he's not the pretty boy, the way Sephiroth, Vincent or Cloud are. And I don't care about that myself, but I know many people do and I'm sure that's the reason why Barret doesn't have as many fans as, for example, Cloud. Sad but true.

Barret is a big guy with an equally big heart - he maybe seems a bit rough, but he's all heart, a loyal and determined person who will fight for his ideals and his people until the very end, giving his own life if he has to. He's a strong, fearless warrior able to do almost anything on the battle field, but at the same time he's a family man, a great father who deeply cares about his daughter and would do anything to protect her and keep her safe. I love the way he is, the way he fights, the way he cares about Marlene, the way Marlene loves and trusts his dad above anything else in the world - and that's why I've built this fanlisting, and I really hope all the Barret fans around come here and join to show their appreaction/love for him. Because he deserves it ^^

As for the fonts I've used, they're Georgia for the layout subtitle and the site titles, Geneva for the text, Verdana for the menu, and Conformyst (that should be easily found at any free fonts site, like Dafont) for the site title.
